4 good goalkeepers of Vietnam team
The Vietnamese team's goal is currently witnessing 4 excellent goalkeepers, including Nguyen Filip, Dang Van Lam, Tran Trung Kien and Nguyen Dinh Trieu.
Although the race for the starting goalkeeper is mainly between Van Lam and Nguyen Filip, it cannot be denied that coach Kim Sang-sik has an abundant and talented team of goalkeepers, with physiques not inferior to those of European teams.

Currently, the goalkeepers under coach Kim Sang-sik's control give fans peace of mind in situations that require physical advantage, such as catching high balls (Nguyen Filip's strength), catching one-on-ones (Van Lam's strength) or reflexes (the bright spots of Dinh Trieu and Van Lam).
While Nguyen Filip has played in Europe for 8 years, won the best goalkeeper award in the Czech Republic in 2019 and started in the Europa League, Van Lam is not far behind. The goalkeeper born in 1993 has 6 years of playing for the Vietnamese national team, played in Thailand, Japan and has rich experience in Southeast Asia when he played in the AFF Cup 2018, 2022.
Goalkeeper Dinh Trieu is less experienced than his two teammates, but is still a good choice thanks to his stable performance in the V-League. As for Van Lam, the 31-year-old goalkeeper's choice to play for Ninh Binh in the first division has led to doubts about his expertise.
