Good mass mobilization - a bridge connecting the army and people

Mass mobilization work always plays a key role, contributing significantly to the excellent completion of the political tasks of the Army Academy. Over the past year, the Academy has organized many practical and meaningful mass mobilization activities, contributing to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, helping to consolidate a strong national defense, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

The Army Academy organizes health check-ups, consultations, and free medicine distribution for policy families and poor households, helping to strengthen military-civilian solidarity.

One weekend morning in December, the atmosphere in Tan Thanh commune (Lam Ha district) became more bustling and warmer when the working group of the Army Academy organized a field trip to do mass mobilization work in the locality.

With a sense of responsibility and sharing, the delegation presented more than 40 meaningful gifts to families with meritorious services and families in difficult circumstances. Military doctors from the Academy also enthusiastically examined, provided health consultations and provided free medicine to families with meritorious services to the revolution, as well as ethnic minorities who are poor.

In addition, officers and soldiers of the Academy also coordinated with local youth union members to clean up the environment and clear inter-village roads, contributing to beautifying the new countryside and raising people's awareness of environmental protection.

In response to the Academy's sentiments, at the program, on behalf of all the people of Tan Thanh commune, Mr. Nguyen Hai Quan - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and enthusiastic support of the officers and soldiers of the Academy. He expressed his hope that the close relationship between the army and the people will be increasingly strengthened, becoming a strong driving force to build the homeland to develop more and more.

This is one of many mass mobilization campaigns organized by the Army Academy. Colonel Phan Thanh Tram - Deputy Head of Political Department of the Academy, shared: “The mass mobilization activities regularly deployed by the Academy not only show the deep gratitude of officers and soldiers for the great sacrifices of previous generations, but also share the difficulties of policy families and poor households in the locality. These activities have contributed to strengthening the relationship between the army and the people, building a solid foundation for ensuring national defense and security in the locality”.

Identifying mass mobilization work as one of the important contents of Party and political activities, contributing to the successful implementation of the Academy's political tasks, over the past year, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Academy's Board of Directors, Party committees and commanders at all levels have always paid attention to, led and directed the agencies and units under the Academy to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to comprehensively, synchronously and effectively deploy mass mobilization activities and policies in the stationed areas, especially in remote communes, remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

The mass mobilization work of the Academy is increasingly being implemented in a profound, qualitative and effective manner. The agencies, faculties, lecturers and student management systems in the Academy have done a good job ofeducating and managing soldiers to strictly maintain discipline in military-civilian relations. At the same time, the units have also actively followed the grassroots and local areas, actively propagandized and mobilized the people and closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities in mass mobilization and twinning work, contributing to protecting political security and social order and safety.

Implementing the motto "Every soldier is a good civil service soldier", agencies, faculties and systems in the Academy actively deploy emulation movements such as "Skilled civil service", building "Good civil service unit", "The army joins hands to build new countryside", along with the unit's Determination to Win emulation movement associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" and the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers". All aim to help soldiers better perform their roles and responsibilities in civil service work.

In addition, the Academy has organized many practical and effective activities such as: Building solidarity houses, gratitude houses; organizing many medical examinations, treatment, health consultations, providing free medicine for policy families, poor households and the elderly; visiting, encouraging, giving gifts to policy families and families in difficult circumstances with a total value of up to hundreds of millions of VND.

In 2025, according to the Academy's Political Department, agencies and units will continue to effectively promote mass mobilization and twinning work and aim for key goals. One of the main directions is to organize activities to celebrate major holidays of the Party, State and army, while carefully preparing activities related to Party congresses at all levels in the Army Academy Party Committee, towards the 12th Army Party Congress and the 14th Party Congress.

In addition, the unit will also continue to effectively implement programs and coordinated activities, with special attention paid to organizing field trips for mass mobilization work, organizing green summer campaigns, and volunteering to create deep impressions on the people. Activities to visit and give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services, revolutionary families and families in difficult circumstances in the area will also be organized regularly, to show the gratitude and sharing of cadres and soldiers towards the generation of fathers and grandfathers who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
