The Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs successfully organized the 4th Party Congress of the Department of Home Affairs, term 2025-2030

Implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo ; Plan No. 02-KH/DU dated February 28, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee on the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress and congresses of Party cells and grassroots Party committees under the 2025 - 2030 term; with the consensus of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

On March 24, 2025, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs solemnly held the 4th Congress, term 2025-2030. Attending the Congress were all party members of 06 party cells under the Lao Cai Department of Home Affairs Party Committee.

The Congress evaluated the achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs, Term III, 2020-2025. During the period of 2020-2025, with the solidarity, efforts and endeavors of cadres, party members and the collective of departments, offices and units, the Department of Home Affairs successfully implemented the assigned targets, plans and political tasks, in which many important tasks were completed with high quality and efficiency, exceeding targets and plans; many major policies and guidelines in the field of Home Affairs were concretized, issued and promptly implemented with creativity and innovation, demonstrating the high role and responsibility of the leadership, collective, cadres and party members in the entire Party Committee.

Every year, the Department of Home Affairs is assessed by the Provincial People's Committee as having excellently fulfilled its assigned tasks and has been awarded many emulation titles and noble forms of commendation by the Party, the State and Lao Cai province. Particularly in the period of 2020-2024, there were 03 years (2020, 2023, 2024) that were assessed as having excellently fulfilled their tasks; 02 times awarded the emulation flag by the Government and 03 emulation flags by the Provincial People's Committee; in 2020, the President awarded the 3rd class Independence Medal.

Based on the reports presented, delegates attending the Congress actively participated in discussing the content of the reports, had many comments with profound and highly constructive content, and also focused on discussing and agreeing on targets, tasks and solutions to successfully implement the Resolution of the 4th Congress, term 2025-2030.

On February 28, 2025, the Party Committee of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 65-QD/DU on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs, on the basis of merging the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs and the Party Committee of the Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; appointing 09 comrades to participate in the Executive Committee, 03 comrades to participate in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee. Comrade Nguyen Van Minh, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, continues to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs, term 2025 - 2030.
