The Vietnamese Party Committee in China successfully organized the Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

On May 19, in Beijing, the Party Committee in China solemnly held the Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, and held a flower offering ceremony at the statue of Uncle Ho and incense burning at the shrine of President Ho Chi Minh.

Taking place on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnamese Party Committee in China for the 2025-2030 term was solemnly held with a spirit of solidarity, intelligence, dynamism, efficiency, and determination to build a clean and strong Party Committee.

Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh directed the Congress, also attending were Vietnamese Consuls General in Kunming, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Nanning, along with delegates from Party Executive Committees and affiliated Party cells.

Delegates attending the Congress and party members of affiliated branches offered flowers at the statue of Uncle Ho in the Embassy grounds and burned incense at the shrine of President Ho Chi Minh, observing a minute of silence to commemorate his contributions to founding, training and leading our Party on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of his birth.

Party Secretary and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Party Secretary and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh said that the Party Committee in China has the characteristic of being located in a large area, with party members and affiliated party organizations scattered throughout the provinces and cities of China.

According to Party Secretary and Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh, the Vietnam-China relationship has entered a new, more substantial and stronger stage of development. In that context, the Party Committee has led and directed the Embassy and representative agencies to promote their pioneering role, with high determination, synchronously and comprehensively implementing foreign affairs activities effectively and achieving many important and meaningful results and achievements, contributing to the country's foreign affairs achievements.

This is the first time the Party Committee in China has held a Congress after the Overseas Party Committee merged into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Party Committee. With an increasing number of Party members, the Party Committee in China has made an important contribution to successfully carrying out the tasks assigned by the higher-level Party Committee.

Party Secretary and Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh emphasized that this Congress is of great significance in setting out directions, tasks and solutions to build a clean and strong Party organization in China, successfully carrying out the tasks of Party building and organization in the new era, the era of national development.

According to the Resolution passed at the Congress, the Party Committee in China determined the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term as improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and the quality of cadres and party members, building a clean and strong party committee and gradually improving the quality of party building work, meeting the requirements and political tasks of the agency...

During the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee in China has set specific targets such as 70-90% of Party members participating in studying and thoroughly understanding the Party's Directives and Resolutions...; 100% of Party members registering and effectively implementing the continued promotion of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; striving every year, the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee to conduct regular inspections, supervisions and thematic supervisions of 20-30% of subordinate Party cells and inspect when there are signs of violations of regulations; every year, 100% of Party members of the Party Committee are qualified to complete their tasks or more, the Party Committee is clean, strong, and exemplary...
