The Communist Party of Vietnam has the greatest power to unite all the people's strengths.

On February 3, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the Uruguayan media group Grupo Multimedio published a series of three articles in print and online newspapers praising the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In the article titled “The Communist Party of Vietnam celebrates 94 years of history”, journalist Leonardo Pérez Piña reviewed the glorious journey of our Party, founded by President Ho Chi Minh in 1930.

The author affirms the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, a genuine revolutionary party, with the greatest convergence of all the strengths of the people and the class, soon becoming the vanguard of the class and the Vietnamese nation in the struggle against imperialism and feudalism.

Throughout history, the Communist Party of Vietnam has gradually and successfully fulfilled its historical mission.

Fifteen years after its founding, the Communist Party of Vietnam successfully led the August Revolution in 1945, driving out imperialism and colonialism, overthrowing the feudal regime, establishing the first worker-peasant state in Southeast Asia; opening a new era in the history of the Vietnamese nation - the era of independence, freedom and socialism.

The Communist Party of Vietnam led the Vietnamese people to wage the resistance war against the French colonialists (1946-1954) and the resistance war against the Americans to save the country (1954-1975).

The Vietnamese people became one of the first peoples to successfully carry out a national liberation revolution in a colonial and dependent country; one of the first peoples to defeat old colonialism and neocolonialism, opening the national liberation movement in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

In his article, journalist Pérez Piña also affirmed the correct decision of the Communist Party of Vietnam in implementing the Doi Moi process since 1986 and after nearly 40 years, Vietnam has achieved admirable economic achievements.

In foreign affairs, Vietnam has established diplomatic relations with nearly 200 countries and established partnerships at various levels with dozens of countries.

The article quoted a comment from the Vietnam News Agency affirming that “Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese people has achieved victories of historical significance, changing the lives and destiny of the entire nation, creating an important foundation for the country to continue to innovate and develop prosperously.”

In another article about attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam over the past 35 years, journalist Pérez Piña highly appreciated Vietnam's flexible and correct policies, which have attracted investment capital from 129 countries around the world.

By the end of 2023, foreign direct investment in Vietnam reached nearly 439 billion USD, of which 274 billion USD had been disbursed.

The article also pointed out that the expansion of economic diplomacy activities by the Communist Party and the Vietnamese Government has created greater opportunities to attract high-quality capital flows into new industries.

The investment attraction policy has really brought positive results when the FDI sector has contributed significantly to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.

Journalist Pérez Piña cited the World Bank's assessment that Vietnam can implement a policy to attract large-scale multinational corporations with high production capacity and close links to the global value chain, thanks to its strengths in political stability, favorable geographical location and large economic openness when participating in 15 new-generation free trade agreements.

In another article titled “Vietnam attracts new investors in semiconductor industry”, journalist Pérez Piña of Grupo Multimedio, a famous Uruguayan media group, emphasized the Vietnamese Government’s policy of considering the semiconductor industry as a key economic sector in the future.

The article commented that after more than 30 years of attracting FDI capital, Vietnam has become a rising star in the global manufacturing supply chain.

In the context of slowing investment flows, Vietnam is making efforts to attract capital into the production of circuit boards and semiconductors.

The article concluded that recently, many large US semiconductor companies have signed agreements to invest in Vietnam and the opportunities in this market for Vietnam are very potential.
