Vietnam women's team offers incense to commemorate Hung Kings

On June 21, the Vietnam National Women's Team under the leadership of Coach Mai Duc Chung visited and offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings at the Hung Temple historical relic site. Representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also attended the ceremony.

At Kinh Thien Palace on Nghia Linh Mountain, the delegates, the coaching staff and the players of the Vietnam Women's Team respectfully offered incense, flowers and gifts to commemorate the Hung Kings who founded the country and reported on the achievements the team has achieved in recent years. Typical achievements include reaching the Final Round of the 2023 Women's World Cup; 8 times winning the SEA Games and 3 times becoming the Champion of Southeast Asia....

Before the souls of the Hung Kings, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his students vowed to unite, actively practice, and compete with all their might for the country's colors in three important tournaments this year: the Asian Women's Football Championship Qualifiers - Asian Cup 2026; the Southeast Asian Championship 2025 and the 33rd SEA Games taking place in Thailand, contributing to the development of the country's sports industry.

In the immediate future, the whole team will focus on competing successfully in the Group E Qualifiers - Asian Cup 2026 which will take place at Viet Tri Stadium from June 29 to July 5 to bring the audience exciting matches with high professional quality.
