After the administrative reorganization, the population of Phu Tho province is about 4 million people, over 2.3 million workers, the economic structure has shifted strongly towards industry, services, high-tech agriculture. In particular, key industries and fields that need a large number of highly qualified workers such as electronics, semiconductors, automation, logistics... have emerged.
In that context, the Project on Human Resources Development of Phu Tho Province for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045, identifies five key objectives: Institutional innovation and enhancement of state management capacity on human resources development; building an ecosystem for human resources management and development according to the PDCA cycle; improving the quality of training and human resources development according to key industries and fields; making breakthroughs in foreign language training, digital transformation and artificial intelligence and linking training - employment - sustainable labor market. Accordingly, by 2030, strive to standardize over 70% of vocational training programs; form a team of 50,000 high-quality workers; establish at least 30 models of state - school - enterprise linkage; the number of employed workers reaches over 2.4 million people; The rate of trained workers will reach 80-85%, of which 40-45% will have degrees and certificates; labor productivity will increase by an average of over 12% in the 2025-2030 period...

At the workshop, experts and scientists highly appreciated the construction of the Project which closely followed the directions of the Central Government and Phu Tho province on education and training development, private economic development; science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. At the same time, issues related to the feasibility of the goals; implementation resources; forecasting human resource needs in international cooperation and the public sector; policies to attract and retain workers; roadmap for building and operating human resource databases...

Speaking at the end of the workshop, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Tran Viet Cuong affirmed that the construction and effective implementation of the Human Resources Development Project for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045, is of special importance, contributing to creating a solid foundation for Phu Tho to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a driving force of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.
The Director of the Department of Home Affairs thanked the experts and scientists for their dedicated and quality contributions to the Project, especially the opinions and proposals with a forecasting nature and solutions to overcome existing problems and limitations, in order to ensure the implementation of the targets and objectives that Phu Tho province has identified in each stage. He requested that, immediately after the workshop, the specialized departments and consulting units seriously absorb, synthesize and soon complete the Project to report to the Provincial People's Committee and submit to the Provincial Party Committee.
