Lac Thuy Commune received more than 400 million VND to support the Fund "For the Poor"

On the morning of November 5, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lac Thuy commune held a launching ceremony for the Peak Month "For the Poor" in 2025.

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee received 406 million VND from 60 groups, agencies, businesses and 102 philanthropists inside and outside the commune.

According to the Lac Thuy Commune Fatherland Front Committee, in recent years, the movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor” in the area has become a bright spot in social security work. However, the commune still has 237 poor households and 492 near-poor households, many lonely and disadvantaged situations that need the attention of the community.

Promoting the tradition of "mutual love", many individuals and units have directly supported, typically Mr. Pham Dac Dat's family (Zone 2) donated 30 million VND.

Comrade Pham Van Duc, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Lac Thuy commune, presented a plaque supporting the construction of Great Unity houses in 2025 to 3 poor households of the commune, with a support level of 60 million VND/household.

All donations will be used to support poor households with housing, capital for production development, scholarships and help other difficult circumstances, giving them more motivation to strive to stabilize their lives.
