Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 18, a delegation of Hung Yen province led by Mr. Lai Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery and the Martyrs Temple at High Point 468, Tuyen Quang province.

Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery is the place where the remains of nearly 2,000 heroes and martyrs and a mass grave of martyrs are gathered, including the graves of 89 children of Hung Yen who sacrificed their lives in the war to protect the northern border of the Fatherland. This is a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, spirit, will to fight for national independence and the desire for peace of the Vietnamese people. High point 468, the sacred land at the northernmost tip of the Fatherland, where more than 40 years ago, thousands of outstanding children of the Vietnamese land fought intelligently, bravely and steadfastly with the spirit of "Not an inch gone, not a millimeter left", determined to preserve every hill, every cliff, every high point. They "Lived clinging to the rocks to fight the enemy - Die and become immortal as rocks" and many people fought bravely and sacrificed to protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation of Hung Yen province laid wreaths of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, respectfully offered incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation. Members of the delegation burned incense at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery, the Memorial, the Martyrs' Temple, and on each grave, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
