On December 7, in Hai Phong City, the Party Committee of the Navy Political Department held a conference to issue a resolution on leadership in implementing tasks in 2025. Colonel Ho Thanh Hoan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Navy chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrades in the Standing Committee, members of the Party Committee and heads of a number of affiliated agencies and units.
Through the assessment of the results of the implementation of tasks in 2024, despite many difficulties, the Party Committee of the Political Department has united, unified, focused on leading and directing the organization to synchronously and comprehensively implement all aspects of assigned work and tasks. In particular, many tasks have been completed excellently, notably: Actively advising the Party Committee, the Command of the Service and guiding units to grasp the situation, tasks, politicaleducation , and ideological orientation of the troops; promoting information and propaganda about the Service's tasks, promoting seas and islands and attracting human resources to build a modern Service.
The Department has proactively coordinated and adjusted the organization of delegations to visit Truong Sa island district ( Khanh Hoa province), DK1 platform on the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland; organized competitions and participated in competitions to win high prizes; guided the completion of the organization and staff of newly established and merged units to meet the requirements of the tasks; deployed party work and political work in the tasks, especially in practical, quality and effective drills...

The results of the Party Committee's leadership in implementing the tasks of the Political Department have directly contributed to maintaining the political and ideological position in the Army. The vast majority of cadres, soldiers, professional soldiers, and defense civil servants are confident in their attachment to and building of the unit, ready to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks. The principles, leadership capacity, and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations at all levels have been maintained and promoted. The atmosphere of solidarity and democracy has been expanded. The Department has actively contributed to building a politically strong Army, successfully completing its functions and tasks as the core to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
At the Conference, delegates actively and focused on specific analysis, objective, realistic, comprehensive and frank assessment of the achieved results, limitations and difficulties, and at the same time contributed ideas to build a resolution to lead the Department to perform the tasks in 2025 to achieve even higher results.

Regarding the direction in the coming time, the conference agreed that, closely following the 2025 theme of the Service, "The year of continuing to review, arrange and adjust the organization and staffing towards streamlining, compactness and strength", the Party Committee of the Political Department focused on improving the capacity to thoroughly grasp, direct and guide from above; the ability to grasp the practical situation and task requirements, better perform the staff function, propose to the Party Committee and the Service Command solutions to lead and direct the building of a Service that is strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; and excellently complete assigned tasks.
The Department will advise, guide and direct the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels in the Party Committee of the Military Service; continue to improve the quality of guidance, direction, organization, inspection and drastic and effective implementation of Party and political work to meet the requirements of the new situation.
Along with that, the Party Committee led the improvement of the quality of building a strong and comprehensive Department, with absolute safety; the Party Committee of the Department excellently completed its tasks; the staff had the capacity and qualifications to meet the requirements of the task, with high responsibility; the Party members were truly pioneers and exemplary. The Political Department strived to achieve and exceed the set targets, and was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense./.
