On June 7, the Party Committee of Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 organized the 2024 Competition for Excellent Party Cell Secretaries. Colonel Pham Van Tho - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Brigade attended and directed.
The contest was attended by 38 candidates who are secretaries and deputy secretaries of Party cells in the Brigade Party Committee. The candidates took a theoretical test in the form of multiple choice and oral questions on the system of documents, plans, and books; along with a practical test on the preparation of draft resolutions.
According to the judges' assessment, the candidates actively prepared well, proactively reviewed and mastered their knowledge; strictly followed the regulations during the exam, promoted a good sense of responsibility; the candidates had good professional knowledge, were flexible in handling situations, and closely related to the reality and characteristics of each type of Party cell.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 2 consolation prizes to the contestants with good results.
The contest aims to foster and improve the qualifications and capacity of Party building work for the team of Party cell secretaries and deputy secretaries; create high unity in awareness and action in performing assigned duties and tasks, contributing to building a clean and strong Party cell and Party organization, a comprehensively strong "exemplary and typical" unit, meeting the requirements of the task.
