2025 also marks the first year of implementing the Resolution of the First Party Congress of Kim Long Ward and the Resolution of the 17th Party Congress of Hue City, for the 2025-2030 term. In the context of many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee promptly issued resolutions and action programs, focusing on resolving obstacles and promoting socio -economic development, thereby basically completing and exceeding 9 out of 9 targets set.

The local economy continues to grow at a fairly strong pace. The total value of products in the area in 2025 is estimated at VND 4,246 billion, an increase of 10.6%. Of this, industry and handicrafts reached over VND 1,134 billion, an increase of 10.7%; the service sector reached over VND 2,517 billion, an increase of 9.4%, with heritage tourism, eco-tourism, and homestay models continuing to be effective. Agriculture , forestry, and livestock reached nearly VND 595 billion, an increase of 7%; forest cover reached 53.12%, and resource management and environmental protection were strengthened.

Budget revenue and expenditure were strictly supervised. Total budget revenue for the ward is estimated at 191 billion VND, reaching 106% of the projected target; total expenditure reached approximately 189 billion VND. Investment promotion, construction investment, and land clearance activities have seen many positive changes; disbursement of public investment capital reached 100% of the plan; many essential infrastructure projects have been upgraded, contributing to improving the urban landscape...

In 2025, the entire Party Committee admitted 25 new members, bringing the total number of members to 1,186 across 66 grassroots Party organizations; the ward's Party Committee was rated as having successfully completed its tasks.

Besides the achievements, the conference also frankly pointed out limitations such as difficulties in budget collection, backlog of land records, pressure on the administrative apparatus after the merger, and the impact of natural disasters. The Party Committee of Kim Long Ward determined that in 2026, it will continue to focus on implementing 5 key programs, striving for a growth rate of 11.4%, an average per capita income of over 80 million VND/year, and building Kim Long Ward into a sustainably developed, civilized, and safe area.
