The female director said that women pursuing a career in directing face many difficulties, but she has always tried her best, not allowing herself to enjoy preferential treatment because of difficulties. For her, to be respected, she must prove that she can do better than what others have done.
"If male directors can get projects after all-night drinking sessions and all-day coffee breaks, female directors find it difficult to do so. Not only that, female directors also have to face discrimination and inferiority in every way.
In addition, I find that health issues are also a difference between female and male directors," director Giang Thanh confided.

Jiang Qing explained: "People often tell each other about the "fiery" fights on set, but because I'm a woman, I'm also more tactful and know how to moderate my behavior better than many other male directors.
I myself don't like noise and tension, so maybe thanks to that, my set is usually quite peaceful and I can easily work with my actors and crew."
The female director said that it was thanks to the great support from her husband and family that she was able to wholeheartedly pursue her career. "This is my greatest luck. My family is the support and motivation for me to achieve the achievements I have today on the path of art," Giang Thanh shared.
