The headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Phu Quy district will be the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Phu Quy special zone. This is also a public administrative center, with a one-stop department to receive procedures from people and businesses.

Born and raised on the island, Mr. Nguyen Van Gioi, who specializes in tourism in the island district, happily said that the locality is becoming more and more famous on the tourist map. For example, when tourists come to the island, seafood will sell more expensively, transportation services will increase, and people's lives will be better...

"Phu Quy will not lose its name, but will make a stronger mark on the national tourism map," Mr. Gioi hopes for the special economic zone government.

According to Resolution No. 1671 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province, from July 1, 2025, Lam Dong province will merge Dak Nong and Binh Thuan , with 124 wards, communes and Phu Quy special zone.

Phu Quy Special Zone was established on the basis of merging Long Hai commune, Ngu Phung commune and Tam Thanh commune, the administrative - political center is located in Ngu Phung commune, with a natural area of 18.02 km2 and a population of 32,268 people.
