
At Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh and members of the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate Most Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh. In the condolence book, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her deep condolences to Most Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh, Deputy Dharma Master of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Council. The Venerable's monastic life is a shining example of dedication to religious and worldly affairs for generations of monks, nuns and Buddhist followers in Vietnam to follow.
Most Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh always demonstrated patriotism, participated in leading and guiding the activities of the Sangha, monks, nuns, and Buddhists to unite, stick together, and actively participate in building and protecting the Fatherland. In any position, he fully demonstrated the spirit of service, dedicating his whole life to the Dharma and the nation. The passing of the Most Venerable is a great loss to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, monks, nuns, Buddhists in Vietnam, and society. Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh sincerely expressed her condolences to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Buddhist disciples, relatives, and fellow Buddhists.
On the same day, a delegation from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission led by Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, visited Most Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh; a delegation from the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Hai Trung visited Most Venerable Elder Thich Tri Tinh.
