In recent times, with proactive and flexible approaches, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has actively promoted awareness raising, organized many activities to support young people to improve their digital capacity and apply science and technology. The province has organized 215 basic digital skills training classes for 10,570 young people and 275 classes for 21,430 people. The training content is diverse, including infographic design, video production, application of artificial intelligence in learning and living; dissemination of information security knowledge, skills to work with digital platforms, support for using online public services, etc.
Many forums and programs to accompany young people in starting a business and establishing a career were also held enthusiastically. In particular, the forum " Quang Ninh Youth Start-up, Establish a Career and Innovation" attracted more than 6,000 young people to participate in many projects applying science and technology and artificial intelligence to life, creating opportunities for young people to exchange, share and propose policies to support creative startups in the context of digital transformation.
Notably, the Provincial Youth Union built and launched the online toolkit (zalo mini app) "Quang Ninh Digital Youth" and the electronic handbook "Digital Popular Education". This is a convenient channel to support learning, searching and practicing technology, initially attracting more than 5,000 Youth Union members to use. At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with staff units to deploy the mini app "Quang Ninh Digital Front", contributing to expanding digital services to the people.
From forums, technology applications to volunteer activities, Quang Ninh youth have affirmed their pioneering role in carrying out new, difficult and important tasks of the province and the country. In 2025, when the 2-level government model officially operates, the green shirt will continue to be present in all areas of life: Supporting the operation of the new government model, promoting digital transformation, accompanying, sharing and implementing activities for community life.
The Provincial Youth Union quickly launched the "90-day peak" campaign to organize a youth team to propagate, guide administrative procedures, remove difficulties, and the peak period of "30 days of opening digital literacy classes in the province". The entire Youth Union maintained 55 volunteer teams with more than 4,500 members directly accompanying the local authorities; supported the implementation of more than 158,000 level 3 and 4 public service records, guided the construction of the 4.0 Market model and supported people to install and create electronic payment accounts.
Continuing the successes achieved, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee continued to issue Plan No. 258-KH/TĐTN-PT (dated April 9, 2025) to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, in order to continue promoting propaganda work, raising awareness and breakthroughs in innovation of thinking for union members, young people and children on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Vu said: We will organize online competitions and interactive games on social networks to increase youth interest in issues of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. Along with that, proactively and promptly update new trends on cyberspace to effectively apply them to the work of the Youth Union, Association and Team; organize classes to equip union members, young people with knowledge and skills to identify and fight against bad, toxic and fake information; strengthen digital safety education, protect personal information, identify fake news, avoid dependence on AI...
With a pioneering and creative spirit, the youth of the Mining Region are contributing to building Quang Ninh into a leading province in digital transformation by actively participating in activities to develop digital technology applications, start-up and innovation, and improve digital capacity for themselves and the community. Youth Union members across the province are proactively applying technology in many fields, from economy, culture, to public services, contributing to building a modern, smart and integrated Quang Ninh.
