Many programs to care for workers' mental health

On October 10, a working delegation led by Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, visited, congratulated and learned about the production - business situation and union activities at Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex Co., Ltd. (SEHC, High-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City). The activity was to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025).

At the meeting, Comrade Bui Thanh Nhan highly appreciated the activities of the enterprise and the company's union to care for workers and employees. According to Comrade Bui Thanh Nhan, the typical programs and activities in caring for workers' lives help workers to be more attached and accompany the enterprise to overcome difficult periods and strive for development. On this occasion, the delegation presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the company's leadership on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day. The members of the delegation also discussed with the Samsung Company's union about the advantages and difficulties in union activities after the reorganization.

According to Ms. Kieu Ngoc Hoa, representative of Samsung Company's union, SEHC currently has about 6,000 employees. In order to better support the employees, in recent times, the union and the company's board of directors have organized many practical care programs such as: charity markets, family festivals, support vehicles to take employees and relatives home for Tet... The company also established a Center to improve the health of employees to provide physical therapy for employees with muscle, bone and joint pain; ultrasound and gynecological examination for female employees and pregnant employees; organize yoga and gym classes to help improve endurance and flexibility, reduce stress and improve overall health.
