According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, these 15,000 workers were selected from enterprises and industrial parks in 7 provinces and cities: Hai Phong, Nghe An, Bac Ninh , Thanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Ho Chi Minh City.

On November 28, the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor informed: Permanent Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong signed an official dispatch to the Labor Federations of the provinces and cities: Hai Phong, Nghe An, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Dong Nai , Lam Dong and Ho Chi Minh City on coordinating the organization of a free medical examination program for workers and laborers.
In the dispatch, the General Confederation said that on September 23, 2025, the Department of Building the Movement to Protect National Security ( Ministry of Public Security ) had a plan to coordinate the organization of free medical examinations for workers at enterprises and industrial parks in a number of provinces and cities.
Therefore, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests the above-mentioned provincial and municipal Labor Confederations to carry out a number of specific tasks to prepare and organize a free medical examination program for workers and laborers.
The program is carried out in batches, each batch lasting from 5 to 10 days, with each day examining 400 workers, including general examination, testing, ultrasound and health consultation.

Up to now, the medical examination in Nghe An (2,000 workers) has been completed, while Bac Ninh (2,000 workers) just opened on the morning of November 28.
The remaining localities will organize the program in turn according to the plan, including: Hai Phong (2,000 workers), Thanh Hoa (2,000 workers), Ho Chi Minh City (4,000 workers), Dong Nai (2,000 workers) and Lam Dong (1,000 workers). The program not only improves the health and spirit of workers but also contributes to promoting and mobilizing workers to actively participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.
The schedule in Ho Chi Minh City is as follows: from December 22 to 31, with 4,000 workers.
The General Confederation proposed to organize free medical examinations for workers on Saturdays and Sundays, examining 200 people in the morning from 7am to 12pm, and examining 200 people in the afternoon from 1:30pm to 5pm.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests the Labor Confederations of provinces and cities to make a list and select subjects (workers and laborers) in enterprises and industrial zones to participate in free medical examination. At the same time, arrange and organize the venue for the opening program and medical examination activities for workers, prepare the necessary facilities and conditions for medical examination and treatment.
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, this is a meaningful and practical program to care for union members and workers. It is recommended that provincial and municipal Labor Confederations pay attention to implementing it to achieve good results.
