Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Center for Vocational Education, Hanoi Association for the Blind Nguyen Trung Thai praised the efforts of the visually impaired students. They have overcome difficulties in transportation, in accessing learning support materials, in applying technological advances in teaching and learning to successfully complete the course, opening up opportunities for stable jobs, creating legitimate income and affirming their self-worth in society.
With the knowledge and skills that have been equipped, the Vocational Education Center, Hanoi Association of the Blind believes that students will confidently embark on their career path. The Center also commits to continue accompanying students, introducing suitable jobs and supporting the visually impaired in the process of integrating into the labor market. At the same time, the Center will organize more advanced training courses and specialized courses to continuously develop skills and expand opportunities for the visually impaired themselves.
Starting on March 14, after more than 3 months of training, 11 students have achieved remarkable results and received Vocational Training Certificates. Of these, 3 students graduated with Excellent grades and 5 students graduated with Fair grades.
Over the past 4 years, the Vocational Education Center and the Hanoi Blind Association have opened dozens of massage training courses for more than 200 students. Most students after graduation have technical skills, ensuring their practice. After training, the number of students with jobs reaches over 90%.

Currently, the Hanoi Blind Association has nearly 250 massage establishments for the visually impaired, some of which are managed by the Association, while the majority are invested in by members. Most of the establishments operate quite effectively, providing jobs for nearly 2,000 visually impaired workers with an average monthly salary of 5-8 million VND/person; some establishments have salaries of over 10 million VND/person/month.
