Of the nearly 150 new graduates of the second class of VinUni University, up to 55% were recruited before graduation by prestigious corporations such as Google, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Unilever, P&G, VinRobotics, etc.; 26% of students were admitted to graduate programs at the world's leading universities, of which nearly half were in the global Top 20 universities.

On June 28, 2025, VinUni University held a graduation ceremony for nearly 150 students of the 2021-2025 academic year, with the theme "Imprints from the resilient generation". The event marked the special journey of maturity of the new graduates who started university in the context of social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but have risen strongly and achieved many outstanding achievements.

At the graduation ceremony, Professor Soumitra Dutta - Dean of Peter Moores Saïd Business School, Oxford University, Member of the Advisory Board of VinUni University expressed: “You have studied in conditions that very few people have ever experienced, with online classes, social distancing and countless uncertainties. But in that adversity, you have shown resilience, courage and aspiration to rise up”.

On that journey, we have contributed a small part to VinUni’s journey to the world – with a spirit of dedication, aspiration to create and belief in a future that can be lit right here.”

Prof. Laurent El Ghaoui, Vice President for Research and Innovation, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Computer Science, could not help but be moved when awarding degrees to the second batch of graduates.

Following the success of the first generation of bachelors, this year's elite new graduates of VinUni continue to record impressive achievements: 55% of students were recruited right before graduation by prestigious multinational corporations such as Google, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group, Unilever, P&G or VinRobotics; 26% of students were admitted to Master's/PhD programs at prestigious global universities, nearly 50% of which are Top 20 universities such as Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley (USA), NUS and NTU (Singapore).

Notably, among these, there are new graduates who have been recruited to research positions in the US with a salary of more than 200,000 USD/year (more than 5 billion VND).

New graduate Le Chi Cuong, Institute of Computer Science and Engineering, has just received a full doctoral scholarship from the University of Texas at Dallas.

9 excellent new graduates received direct admission letters to PhD programs with full scholarships from prestigious universities such as National University of Singapore (NUS), University of California, Santa Barbara, University of Texas, Dallas... Many students have boldly started their own businesses in the fields ofeducational technology, healthcare and new materials.

Freshman Tran Dinh Le Hoang, Institute of Business Administration, successfully raised 1.3 billion VND from VFS Global for startup Dynapath, developing an "electric brick" solution from plastic waste, capable of generating electricity with every step.

Nguyen Tuong Minh, a fresh graduate from the Institute of Computer Science and Engineering, has a variety of internship experiences at leading corporations in Vietnam and the world. Tuong Minh officially took on the position of Technical Program Manager at Google before receiving his diploma.
