The impact of storm Matmo caused prolonged heavy rains, causing serious flooding in many areas in Thai Nguyen . Rising floodwaters trapped many people, forcing them to climb onto rooftops for shelter. In this critical situation, two young people, Tu Tat Huan and Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, created the website thongtincuuho.org to collect and summarize rescue requests, helping authorities quickly identify and access points in need of support.

The two founders of the website are Mr. Tat Huan (29 years old) - a programmer with 10 years of experience in software development, and Ms. Mai Anh (32 years old) - an AI product development expert.

Initially, they built an application called vntraffic.app to update traffic situations in the area. However, when the historic flood occurred in Thai Nguyen, witnessing thousands of calls for help on social networks, Huan and Mai Anh quickly edited the application, turning it into a new version - thongtincuuho.org, helping to synthesize and visualize locations in need of emergency rescue.

The idea was born at around 11pm on October 7th. After only 4 hours of continuous work, the two young people completed the website thongtincuuho.org.

" Due to social network law restrictions, I cannot allow users to post news directly on the website. Instead, I allow users to comment on any social network page. The system will automatically search, pull, classify and then push it to the map ," Tuat Huan shared.

In less than 24 hours after its launch, the thongtincuuho.org website has attracted nearly 3,000 users and has been widely shared on many social networking platforms. Thousands of calls for help have been sent, each call point displays the address and describes the specific situation so that rescue forces can quickly reach it. Data is updated in real time, helping rescue teams filter locations and prioritize support according to the level of urgency.

" I understand that rescue work is not as simple as reading a message and rushing to help. Therefore, our goal is to build a HeatMap to clearly show the areas in need of urgent support. Hopefully this project can contribute a small part to helping Thai Nguyen people overcome difficulties," Tuat Huan shared.
