Intense fight between Miss Grand President and beauty stripped of crown

“She contacted the Korean plastic surgery hospital and said she wanted to bring her mother to have a nose job and wanted it free of charge. Rachel was very difficult to cooperate with. Everyone was deceived,” said Mr. Nawat.

Mr. Nawat also shared pictures of beauty Rachel before and after the coronation to prove that she had undergone cosmetic surgery, violating her promise to the organization.

"She did not ask for permission or inform us about the cosmetic surgery. When we asked, she said she ate a lot of protein and insisted her beauty was natural," said Mr. Nawat.

Mr. Nawat further revealed that the Miss Grand Guatemala organization had sent an invitation to Rachel to work. The organization spent more than 1,000 USD on airfare and hotel, but Rachel did not agree to go on the business trip.

"She always does things on her own without following the organization's rules. The next business trip to Spain has also been booked. But she has caused us to lose a lot of money," said Mr. Nawat.

Mr. Nawat also said that after a business trip to the Czech Republic, Rachel sent a message to Ms. Teresa - Vice President of Miss Grand - to complain about being paid low salary and asked for a salary of more than 4,000 USD.

Mr. Nawat also revealed that Rachel had accepted the work contract without the organization's consent.

The Miss Grand International Organization has issued a document announcing the stripping of the crown from Rachel Gupta. The organization accused Rachel of failing to complete her assigned tasks, participating in outside projects without prior approval from the organization, and refusing to participate in a trip to Guatemala.

On May 29, Mr. Nawat announced the appointment of Philippine beauty Christine Juliane Opiaza as Miss Grand International 2024. Christine Juliane Opiaza is the first runner-up of the 2024 season, held in October 2024 in Thailand.

Mr. Nawat shared that after the Miss Grand organization stripped Rachel Gupta of her crown, Christine Juliane Opiaz proactively contacted him and said she was willing to accompany the organization. Christine Juliane Opiaz will arrive in Thailand on June 1.
