Messi signed a contract extension with Inter Miami until December 2028, also at Miami Freedom Park, marking a new stage of development for the team chaired and co-owned by David Beckham.

According to the new MLS 2026 schedule, Inter Miami will officially play at its new home stadium Miami Freedom Park on April 4, 2026 against Austin FC.
