"Money Trap" is a project by director Oscar Duong, belonging to the 16+ film category, revolving around the character Dang Thuc, played by Lien Binh Phat. He is a financial professional who inadvertently gets involved with a mobile money transfer application and quickly falls into a sophisticated scam. From a seemingly simple transaction, Thuc is drawn into a dangerous vortex, constantly on the run, facing life-or-death situations to track down the mastermind behind it...
The role of Dang Thuc in "Money Trap" demands fast-paced acting, numerous action scenes, and intense psychological tension – elements considered suitable for Lien Binh Phat's strong, edgy yet profound image.
And the sudden postponement of the film's release came as a surprise to many viewers.

Besides Lien Binh Phat, the film also features several young faces such as Le Tam Trieu Dang, Kieu Oanh, Le Hai, Thua Tuan Anh, and many guest actors. The film's plot is promoted as a sensationalist story, exploring online fraud – a topical issue of current social concern.
Responding to Thanh Nien newspaper about the reason for the sudden withdrawal from theaters, director Oscar Duong said: "Due to the continuous updates on the natural disaster and flooding situation in Central Vietnam in recent days, with so much heartbreaking information... At this time, screening a film requires many promotional activities, which we felt were inappropriate. Therefore, we decided to temporarily withdraw the film from theaters and will officially announce its return as soon as possible."
