To promote digital transformation in the field of education, Thuan Chau commune always pays attention to and directs schools in the area to apply information technology, promote innovation and creativity in teaching and learning, and contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning.

Schools in Thuan Chau commune have a relatively favorable environment for digital transformation, thanks to the relatively complete digital infrastructure invested and built by the former Thuan Chau District People's Committee. Since 2020, schools in the commune have implemented teaching and learning on digital platforms. They have also used online assignment software such as E-learning and Study365, along with free and highly stable applications like Google Meet, Google Classroom, and Msteam to organize online learning.

Thuan Chau commune currently has 15 schools from preschool to high school, with a total of approximately 20,000 students. To implement digital transformation in education , teachers in these schools have participated in training courses, developed electronic lesson plans and teaching materials, learned how to use teaching aids, installed software, and designed lessons on various applications. In addition, online training has been provided on designing E-learning lessons and operating teaching methods in the 4.0 era; over 400 teachers have been guided to research and apply advanced teaching skills and assign homework to students on digital platforms.

Mr. Do Dinh Quan, Principal of Thuan Chau Town Primary School, said: "The school always focuses on applying information technology in management, administration, and teaching. Every week, the school updates the entire database of teachers, students, and related teaching activities on the internal network system. Thanks to this, the time spent on preparing reports and checking data has been significantly shortened. In addition, the school also uses electronic files, electronic lesson plans, electronic student records, electronic communication logs, and electronic signatures… It can be said that the application of digital transformation greatly supports staff and teachers in managing professional tasks and improving the quality of teaching."

In addition to classroom lessons, teachers also integrate online learning activities and assignments for students. Lectures are projected or delivered to students via electronic devices through software; teachers can monitor student activity on these learning devices. Assignments are given quickly through software, and once students complete the assignments, the system analyzes their strengths and weaknesses and evaluates their results. From this, teachers can make adjustments to address weaknesses in the learning process and explain difficult parts of the assignments to students.

I also regularly communicate with students by assigning online homework, helping them consolidate any missing knowledge and encouraging them to study advanced exercises."

Lo Minh Ngoc, a 6th-grade student from Tong Lanh Secondary School, shared: "Thanks to digital technology , I've been able to participate in many online lessons; receiving learning materials and assignments from teachers is also very quick and convenient. Therefore, I can proactively access materials or do assignments at any time. I also refer to a lot of useful information online, supplementing my knowledge."

To date, 100% of schools in Thuan Chau commune have implemented electronic record management systems and applied digital signatures in administration. Over 80% of teachers are proficient in online teaching tools and digital platforms. Software for managing staff, teachers, facilities, and updating the education sector database helps management agencies grasp the situation and promptly issue appropriate directives. This improves the quality of education in the locality through digital transformation; and at the same time, helps the younger generation master information technology from their time in school.
