Participating in the ITB Asia 2025 International Tourism Fair in Singapore, the Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion program aims to promote the tourism brand and destinations of Vietnam, especially Ho Chi Minh City - a dynamic metropolis with rich tourism resources to international partners, airlines, travel businesses, tourism management agencies in Singapore and other Asian countries.

Many activities to promote tourism in Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City were coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism with organizations in Singapore, notably organizing a space to introduce destinations and tourism products, expanding the cooperation network with international partners in the ITB Asia Fair 2025; meeting and working with agencies and partners in Singapore to cooperate in developing new tourism products, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with other destinations in the region; attending conferences and seminars in the ITB Asia Fair 2025 to update tourism trends in the world ; coordinating with the organizing committee of the "Vietnam Pho Festival" program in 2025 in Singapore to widely introduce Ho Chi Minh City tourism to the public.

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said: “Singapore has long been one of the traditional and important markets for Vietnamese tourism in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular. Organizing this promotional program not only aims to promote and strengthen the tourism cooperation relationship between the two sides, but also aims to enhance the presence of Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic and attractive destination in the ASEAN region and on the international stage."
In addition to the goal of promoting destinations, the Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion program in Singapore in 2025 also supports tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh City to gain deeper access to the characteristics, market development trends, and consumer behavior of tourists around the world, especially Asian tourists, in order to research and develop attractive tourism product packages that are suitable to the needs and tastes of the market. Thereby, creating favorable conditions to attract international tourists to Ho Chi Minh City with the city's typical and outstanding tourism products after expanding its administrative boundaries, such as MICE tourism, high-end beach resort tourism, island tourism, cultural - historical tourism, and culinary tourism.
