Under the leadership of Ms. Duong, the association's activities in Hai Son have become increasingly effective, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of women and spreading good values in the community.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hai Son commune, gave gifts to disadvantaged children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In recent years, the women's movement in Hai Son commune has had many positive changes, the content and methods of operation are increasingly diverse, creative, and suitable to the actual conditions of the locality. Immediately after Hai Son commune was established from the merger of two old commune-level administrative units, Ms. Duong proactively advised on perfecting the organization, building a specific action plan, arousing the spirit of solidarity, promoting internal strength, and quickly bringing the women's movement into order. She directed the implementation of 10 targets for the term to achieve and exceed the plan, in which the groups of targets on membership development, supporting women in economic development, digital transformation and environmental protection stand out.

Many models initiated and directed by Ms. Duong have brought about remarkable results, recognized and replicated by superiors. Typical models are "Turning trash into money", "Intergenerational women preserving and promoting national costumes", folk dance club, "Godmother - Helping children go to school"... all spread the spirit of humanity and contribute to building cultural life in residential areas. In addition, the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" has been effectively implemented, the association has mobilized more than 150 million VND from socialized resources to help members, women and children in difficult circumstances.

Those meaningful and practical programs have helped women in Hai Son commune have more resources to develop production, improve income, raise community awareness about environmental protection, and preserve a bright - green - clean - beautiful rural landscape.

Ms. Duong participated in the Po Hen Village Women's Union Conference to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the members.

In addition, Ms. Duong also actively promotes and mobilizes women to carry out digital transformation and apply technology in household economic development. The Commune Women's Union has coordinated to organize many training courses on online sales skills, promoting local products on digital platforms; guiding 100% of the branches to build fanpages and zalo groups, promoting typical examples and activities of the Union, contributing to improving the capacity, confidence and role of women in the new era.

Ms. Duong confided, “As an Association officer, I always spend a lot of time going to villages and residential areas to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of members, promptly resolve difficulties, encourage and support disadvantaged women. There are many cases of single women and women in especially difficult circumstances who have been helped by the Association to stabilize their lives and escape poverty. I believe that doing association work must be done with heart and love. When we truly care and share, people will open their hearts and the movement will be sustainable.”

The Women's Union of Hai Son commune organized a regular meeting of the Intergenerational Club to preserve and promote ethnic costumes.

With that dedication and responsibility, Ms. Duong and the Association have developed 54 new members, admitted 13 honorary members, effectively managed nearly 7 billion VND of capital entrusted from the Social Policy Bank, supported dozens of women's households to escape poverty, and develop sustainable family economy. Many members shared that they found confidence, encouragement and opportunities to rise up from the meaningful activities that Ms. Duong and the Association have brought.

With a sense of responsibility, creativity and enthusiasm, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong has made an important contribution to the positive changes of the women's movement in Hai Son commune. She deserves to be a typical example of a dynamic, dedicated and devoted Union cadre - a person who "keeps the fire" for the women's movement at the grassroots level, contributing to beautifying the image of Vietnamese women in the new era.
