On the afternoon of August 7, the Ministry of Public Security held an online conference to promote the application of population data in assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers and the announcement ceremony of the competition to find technological solutions "Data for Life" and the national digital transformation forum website.

In implementing Project 06, the banking sector has actively coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to implement 11 tasks and 35 contents, bringing many benefits. In particular, the assessment of the creditworthiness of borrowers was implemented by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Hanoi University of Science and Technology on the basis of population data, using machine learning technology and artificial intelligence. Thereby, affirming the value of transparency, civilization, crime prevention, contributing to promoting economic development and social security that the solution of assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers based on the population data platform brings.

At the conference, through 17 presentations, units and banks presented the current situation and sought solutions to overcome difficulties in legality, technology infrastructure, human resources, and service fees in implementing solutions to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers based on population data. The application has contributed to reducing "black credit" in financial transactions, effectively implementing the tasks of Project 06, and ensuring high-quality resources for socio-economic development.
At the conference, the organizing committee announced the website of the national digital transformation forum at www.diendanchuyendoiso.gov.vn and launched a competition to find technology solutions "data with life" to encourage creative ideas to exploit data effectively to form practical technology products, solutions, and services serving the three pillars: Digital Government, Digital Society, Digital Economy. Find ideas and products to incubate into finished products, form innovative businesses, form an ecosystem to promote data sharing, share ideas and data exploitation solutions to promote the national digital transformation process.
