Aiming at the goal of sustainable socio-economic development, Vinh Long Power Company is making efforts to coordinate with local authorities and related units to accelerate the compensation, support and site clearance of 2 110kV Lo Ra power projects at Duyen Hai 220kV station and to renovate and increase the cross-section of the phase-separating wire from ACSR 240 to 2 ACSR 240 on the Tra Vinh - Duyen Hai (Duyen Tra) route.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Truc Son worked with investors and local authorities to remove difficulties, promptly compensate, support and clear land for key projects.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Truc Son worked with investors and local authorities to remove difficulties, promptly compensate, support and clear land for key projects.

Synchronized coordination

These two projects are of particular importance in ensuring a stable power supply, serving the socio -economic development of the coastal region and surrounding areas. During the implementation process, the close coordination between the investor, local authorities and relevant agencies has contributed to promptly resolving many difficulties, creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule.

The 110kV Outgoing Project of Duyen Hai 220kV Station has a length of 4.497km, including 18 pillars and the expansion of the 110kV Duyen Tra Station, carried out in Ngu Lac Commune, with a total recovered land area of 5,700m2, mainly rice fields, residential land and other land.

Up to now, the compensation and support council of Ngu Lac commune has paid to 94/106 households, reaching 88.68% of the total number of households, with an amount of more than 8.2 billion VND, an increase of 5 households compared to September 25, 2025. The commune currently has 12 households that have not paid with an amount of more than 2.2 billion VND.

Mr. Huynh Chi Hai - Permanent Deputy Director of Vinh Long Power Company (facility 3) said: Up to now, all 18/18 pole positions of the project have been cleared. The foundation construction, pole erection and wire pulling phase 1 have been completed, putting into operation the section from Duyen Hai 220kV station to pole T8. At the same time, thanks to the active coordination between the investor and the local government, along with effective mobilization and propaganda work, many households have voluntarily handed over the land, creating conditions for the construction unit to complete the wire pulling to pole T10, ensuring the progress and safety of the project.

While the wire pulling work from T10 to T16 was temporarily suspended due to problems at the T15 pier foundation, Vinh Long Electricity Company and Ngu Lac commune urgently coordinated to check, review documents and agree on a solution.

Units are focusing on removing difficulties, ensuring construction progress, aiming to energize and complete the entire line as soon as possible, serving local socio-economic development.

In addition, there are still a few other households that have not agreed to receive money and hand over the land, although the authorities have met, mobilized, and dialogued many times to resolve the issue. Identifying this as a difficult case that affects the general progress, it is necessary to continue to strengthen propaganda, explain policies, and at the same time propose that local authorities consider appropriate solutions to ensure the rights of the people and the progress of the project.

Ensure progress

The project to renovate and increase the cross-section of the split-phase line from ACSR 240 to 2 ACSR 240 (Duyen Tra), has a route length of 37.167km with 132 poles passing through the communes of Chau Thanh, Long Hiep, Nhi Truong, Hiep My and Ngu Lac. The total land area recovered is 4,000m2, mainly rice land, residential land and land for perennial crops.

Up to now, 100% of the land (132/132 pole positions) has been handed over to the construction unit. In Ngu Lac commune alone, 16 households have not yet received payment because the compensation and support plan has not been completed.

Currently, the construction units are completing payment and settlement documents; however, the delay in completing the plan has caused 16 households who agreed to the construction in advance to not receive support money, potentially leading to a risk of complaints.

Mr. Nguyen Van Gioi - Chairman of Ngu Lac Commune People's Committee, said: During the implementation process, the coordination between the investor, local authorities and functional agencies was maintained regularly and effectively, helping to promptly resolve many problems.

The difficulties at the T9-T10 wire pulling section have been resolved, the remaining locations are basically favorable for construction. As for the T15 pier foundation, the parties agreed to continue working with the households, separating the new requests for consideration and response later, to avoid affecting the progress. The locality hopes that the relevant units will continue to accompany in thoroughly handling the existing problems, especially the T15 pier foundation and the remaining cases.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Truc Son said that the results achieved in compensation, support and site clearance for two key power projects clearly demonstrated the sense of responsibility, consensus and high efforts of Vinh Long Power Company, local authorities and people in the project area.

Up to now, 100% of the pole locations have been handed over, creating favorable conditions for construction and ensuring the progress of energization according to plan. This is an important step in the process of developing the province's energy infrastructure, contributing to ensuring stable power supply, meeting the needs of socio-economic development in the Duyen Hai area and neighboring areas.
