Hanoi University of Science and Technology has announced its 2025 regular university enrollment plan.

Admission quota and admission method of Hanoi University of Science and Technology 2025

(1) Talent selection: Including the following methods: (1.1) Direct selection of excellent students according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; (1.2) Selection based on international certificates; (1.3) Selection based on capacity profile combined with interview.

1.1. Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training

* Admission subjects: Candidates graduating from high school in 2025, achieving high results in the excellent student (HSG) exam, Science and Technology (KHKT) competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, specifically as follows: Candidates summoned to participate in the national team selection exam to compete in international and regional Olympic competitions, or winning First, Second, Third prizes in the National Excellent Student selection exam in cultural subjects will be directly admitted to the majors suitable for the subjects they won the prize. Candidates in the National team participating in the International Science and Technology competition or winning First, Second, Third prizes in the National Science and Technology competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training will be directly admitted to the majors suitable for the field of the topic they registered for the exam.

1.2. Admission based on International certificates* Admission subjects: Candidates with an average score (GPA) of 8.0 or higher in each year of grades 10, 11, 12; Have at least 1 of the following International certificates: SAT, ACT...

1.3. Selection based on competency profile combined with interview

*Admission subjects: Candidates graduating from high school in 2025, with an average score of 8.0 or higher in each year of grades 10, 11 and 12 and meeting one (01) of the following conditions:

i) Selected to participate in the National Excellent Student Exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or won First, Second, Third or Encouragement Prize in the Provincial/City-level Excellent Student Exam organized by the Department of Education and Training (or equivalent organized by National Universities, Regional Universities) in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Foreign Languages, and Combinations during high school;

ii) Selected to participate in the National Science and Technology Competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training;

iii) Selected to participate in the Road to Olympia contest organized by Vietnam Television from the monthly round and above;

iv) Specialized students (including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Foreign Languages) of high schools and specialized high schools nationwide, specialized classes, specialized systems of universities, national universities, and regional universities.

(2) Admission based on Thinking Assessment (TSA) scores

* Admission subjects: Candidates participating in the Thinking Assessment Test (AET) organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology;

* Admission requirements: Candidates must have graduated from high school and achieved the TSA score threshold set by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (to be announced later).

(3) Admission based on 2025 high school graduation exam scores

* Admission subjects: Candidates participating in the 2025 high school graduation exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Departments of Education and Training;

* Admission requirements: Candidates who have graduated from high school and achieved the minimum score set by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (to be announced later);* Maintain the same 10 admission combinations and main subjects as previous years including: A00, A01, A02, B00, D01, D04, D07, D26, D28 and D29;* Add a new combination K01 including the subjects: Math, Literature, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT. In which Math and Literature are 2 compulsory subjects, combined with 1 of 4 subjects Physics or Chemistry or Biology or IT with a coefficient. The formula for calculating the admission score for combination K01 is as follows:

Hanoi University of Science and Technology Training Program 2025

In 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology plans to enroll 65 training programs. The school will add a K01 admission combination based on the results of the high school graduation exam, applicable to all majors. At the same time, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will also open a new major in this admission period.
