Scope and enrollment objects of Hanoi University of Architecture 2025
Fields of study: Arts; Architecture and construction; Engineering technology; Computer and information technology; Social and behavioral sciences .
Training form: Full-time credit-based, direct training combined with some online training modules.
Enrollment is nationwide, including foreign candidates if they meet the admission requirements according to the regulations of Vietnamese law and of Hanoi University of Architecture.
Candidates applying for admission to gifted majors with exam/admission combinations V00, V01, V02, H00, H02 must take the 2025 gifted exam organized by Hanoi University of Architecture.
Candidates must have scores that meet the input quality assurance threshold specified in the Admissions Plan and admission announcements of the School.
Admission of Hanoi University of Architecture 2025
Early admission:
Early admission is only for those who meet the direct admission conditions according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
General admission:
General admission is for those who have high school graduation exam results, aptitude test results, and high school academic results.
Admission methods of Hanoi University of Architecture 2025
Method 1: Admission using high school graduation exam results in 2025
Admission to all majors, majors, and general training majors without aptitude test in the admission subject group. Admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission registration group and priority points (if any).
Method 2: Admission combining high school graduation exam results with aptitude test scores in 2025
Applicable to gifted majors/majors with admission combinations V00, V01, V02, H00, H02 combining exam scores in the 2025 high school graduation exam and the gifted exam organized by Hanoi University of Architecture in 2025.
Method 3: Admission using high school academic results (transcript)
Consider the academic results (transcripts) of subjects in the corresponding admission combination in 6 semesters of high school for the following majors and specialties: Water supply and drainage engineering; Urban infrastructure engineering; Urban environmental engineering; Mechanical and electrical engineering technology; Traffic construction engineering; Construction project management; Urban underground construction; Civil and industrial construction; Construction materials engineering technology.
Method 4: Direct admission and Priority admission
Direct admission:
Direct admission is considered in accordance with the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training applicable to all groups of majors, disciplines, and majors that do not have an aptitude test. For groups of majors, disciplines, and majors that have an aptitude test, candidates must have an aptitude test score that meets the threshold to ensure input quality.
Admission priority:
Candidates who are eligible for direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training but do not use the right to direct admission, register and submit priority admission application will be considered for additional priority admission points of no more than 2.0 points in the admission subject group according to the 30-point scale, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.
Candidates who win First, Second, and Third prizes in the subjects in the admission combination in the provincial excellent student selection exam (no more than 3 years from the time of admission) will be considered for additional priority admission points of no more than 1.5 points in the admission combination on a 30-point scale, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.
Candidates with an English certificate according to regulations with an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher and equivalent certificates in the following table, who register for admission to the School's Advanced Architecture Program, will be considered for additional priority points for admission to the admission subject group, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.
Other methods:
Reviewing application documents and conducting direct interviews according to the regulations of the Partner School for international joint programs.
