That was the speech of Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Do Van Chien, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, Head of the Emulation Bloc at the Conference to summarize emulation activities in 2023 and deploy key tasks for 2024 of the Emulation Bloc of socio- political organizations and union organizations held on March 29, in Hanoi.

In 2023, member units in the Bloc continued to innovate in emulation and reward work and achieved many positive results. The emulation movement received close attention, thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the Party's resolutions and directives, and the State's laws on emulation and reward work.

The member units of the Bloc have organized and launched special emulation movements to celebrate major holidays of the Party and the State. The emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister continue to be effectively implemented with a variety of contents, focusing on difficult, key and urgent tasks, creating a driving force to contribute to promoting the country's socio -economic development tasks.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, at the launching ceremony to support the construction of Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) with the theme "Millions of loving hearts - Thousands of happy homes", member units registered to support 2,449 gratitude houses worth 124.1 billion VND.

The emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" is deployed and integrated into the content of the campaign "The whole people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", mobilizing people, union members and union members to actively participate in building new rural areas...

Recognizing the efforts of member units in the Emulation Bloc in 2023, which have contributed to the country's overall achievements in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building, building a clean and strong government; contributing to consolidating and strengthening the tradition and strength of the great national unity bloc, speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, Head of the Emulation Bloc Do Van Chien emphasized that 2024 is very important, with the theme of 2024 set by the Government being "Discipline, responsibility, proactiveness, timely, accelerating creativity, sustainable efficiency". Member units in the Emulation Bloc must closely follow the theme of the year to organize emulation movements.

In addition, units need to have appropriate forms to disseminate, thoroughly understand, research and study the book "Promoting the tradition of Great National Unity, building our country to be increasingly rich, civilized and happy" and the article "Proud and confident under the glorious flag of the Party, determined to build an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, in which focusing on thoroughly understanding the content: taking "peace for the people" as the decisive factor for all victories in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The member units of the Emulation Bloc need to focus on implementing the political tasks of each agency, competing to achieve achievements to welcome the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels towards the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029; at the same time, widely spread patriotic emulation movements to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of each agency and unit, so that each emulation movement truly becomes a driving force to improve working spirit, promoting the agency and unit to complete assigned political tasks.

At the Conference, member units of the Emulation Bloc of socio-political organizations and joint organizations signed the Emulation Covenant for 2024./.
