This afternoon (June 27), more than 1 million candidates taking the 2024 high school graduation exam will begin with the Math test in multiple-choice format, lasting 90 minutes. The exam will start at 2:30 p.m.

After the test time was over, many candidates walked out of the school gate with happy faces because they had finished the test. At the test site of Kim Giang Secondary School (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi ), candidates rated this year's Math test as relatively easy, with differentiation focused from question 38 onwards.
As the first candidate to leave the exam room at this testing site, Tran Khanh Linh commented that the Math test consisted of 50 multiple choice questions. She did the first 40 questions very quickly, but the last 10 questions were relatively difficult and took more time to complete.
"I found the test to be quite easy, I finished about 10 minutes early. I predict I can get 8-8.5 points," Khanh Linh shared.
Meanwhile, candidate Nguyen Anh Tuan (Tran Hung Dao High School) commented that compared to the previous review tests, this test was not much different in terms of differentiation. The level of knowledge in the test ranged from easy to difficult. He was able to get about 35 questions correct. Tuan thinks many candidates will do well on this test.
Also at this test site, candidate Nguyen Hai Ha shared that the Math test did not surprise him. The level of knowledge in the test went from easy to difficult. From question 37, the test began to increase in difficulty and the level of difficulty increased from question 40 to question 50. These questions were used to classify students, to be able to do them, one had to have a very solid grasp of the knowledge.
"I did quite well in the Literature exam this morning. I expect to get 8 points in Math. Tomorrow, I will try my best in the remaining exams to complete my goal."
At the exam site of Phan Dinh Phung High School (Ba Dinh District), Bui Tran Phuong Chi from Nguyen Trai High School shared: “I was able to answer about 30 questions with certainty. After question 30, the difficulty level gradually increased, the most difficult being the geometry question. In particular, with some difficult questions, even though I found the answer, I was still a bit skeptical about whether the question was “trapped” somewhere. I think my score was around 7.5 - 8 points.”
At the exam site of Dich Vong Secondary School (Cau Giay District), Nguyen Minh Duc, from the Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts College, was the first candidate to leave the exam site. Minh Duc said that this year's Math test was quite easy, and he had finished all the questions in the test. "I estimate that I can get 7-8 points or more with this test," the male student said. Nguyen Hong Anh, from the Foreign Language Specialized High School, said that the first 40 questions in the test were quite within his ability, while the last 10 questions were quite difficult. "I think the test was both difficult and long. I am sure of the answers to about 40 questions, but I am not really sure about the remaining questions," Anh said.
Tomorrow morning (June 28), candidates will take the Natural Science and Social Science exams (50 minutes). On the afternoon of June 28, candidates will take the Foreign Language exam (60 minutes). June 29 is the backup schedule.
The exam results are expected to be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17. After that, localities will conduct graduation exams for students taking the exam and use the graduation exam results to consider university and college admissions according to the enrollment plan.
