In just 4 days, nearly 1 million candidates nationwide will take the 2023 high school graduation exam.
Literature is the first subject. The Literature exam is always one of the exams expected to bring new emotions in each high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the Literature exam has the same structure as the reference exam for Literature - High School Graduation Exam in the 2023 school year, basically keeping the same structure and question format as the reference exam in 2022 and the official exam for Literature - High School Graduation Exam in the 2021 - 2022 school year.
Still in 120 minutes, the exam retains the same two parts as the structure of the National High School Exam from 2017 to present: Reading Comprehension (3.0 points), Writing part with two sentences, writing a social argumentative paragraph 2 points, literary argumentative essay 5 points. That is a familiar structure, suitable for students' psychology and perception.
The Reading Comprehension section includes reading comprehension material, a poem, outside the general education textbook program, followed by 4 reading comprehension questions, classified according to reduced cognitive levels.
Specifically, from 4 levels of cognition (recognition - understanding - application - high application), the reference questions in recent years often only have 3 levels left.
In which, the recognition level will usually be the first 2 questions, reducing the pressure to the maximum for candidates, but also reducing the mobilization of thinking ability, reducing interest when with content recognition questions, candidates almost only need to correctly identify and copy a few appropriate sentences/paragraphs in the reading comprehension text into the answer section to get the maximum score.
