Proposal for rearrangement of Dong Hoi city to 3 wards

On March 19, information from the People's Committee of Quang Binh province said that it had just submitted a plan to rearrange commune-level administrative units in the city, from 15 administrative units down to 3 units.

Specifically, Dong Hoi City is proposed to be reorganized into 3 wards, combined with expanding administrative boundaries. In which, the first ward is expected to merge the communes and wards: Dong Hai, Dong Phu, Hai Thanh, Duc Ninh, Duc Ninh Dong, Phu Hai, Bao Ninh and propose to expand the boundary to Quan Hau town, Luong Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district.

Dong Hoi City People's Committee presents plan to reorganize the locality into 3 wards

Ward 2, planned to merge the communes and wards: Nam Ly, Bac Ly, Loc Ninh, Quang Phu and propose to expand the boundary to Nam Trach commune and part of Nhan Trach commune, Bo Trach district.

Ward 3, planned to merge the communes and wards: Nghia Ninh, Dong Son, Bac Nghia, Thuan Duc and proposed to expand the boundary to Vinh Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district.

Currently, the People's Committee of Dong Hoi City is proposing that the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province consider the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, combined with the expansion of Dong Hoi City's administrative boundaries according to the approved general planning for the northern vicinity, including Ly Trach commune, Nhan Trach commune and part of Nam Trach commune; and the southern vicinity, including Quan Hau town, Luong Ninh commune and part of Vinh Ninh commune.
