Proposal to unify the list of inter-provincial bus routes Lao Cai - Yen Bai

Lao Cai Provincial Department of Construction has just issued Document 857 requesting Yen Bai Provincial Department of Construction to coordinate in supplementing the list of Lao Cai - Yen Bai Interprovincial Bus Routes.

Accordingly, in order to have a basis to submit to Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee for approval to supplement the list of Lao Cai - Yen Bai inter-provincial bus routes, Lao Cai Provincial Department of Construction requests Yen Bai Provincial Department of Construction to give opinions and agree on a number of contents:

Bus route name: Lao Cai - Yen Bai ;

Starting and ending points of the route: End A (Coc Leu market parking lot - An Duong Vuong street, Lao Cai city); end B (Yen Bai province Public Administration Service Center).

Route number: 101 - Expected route: Coc Leu market parking lot - An Duong Vuong street - Quy Hoa street - Hoang Lien street - Xuan Dieu street - Ham Nghi street - Bac Cuong roundabout - Tran Hung Dao street - Binh Minh street - IC18 intersection - expressway (Noi Bai - Lao Cai) - IC13 intersection - Tuan Quan bridge - routes in Yen Bai city - Yen Bai province Public Administration Service Center and vice versa.

Route distance: 148 km; mobilization distance: 2.3 km;

Vehicle used: Small and medium buses

Operation phase: 2025 ÷ 2030 (details of contents related to the Lao Cai - Yen Bai inter-provincial bus route will be shown in the Technical design documents of the bus route and the future bus route operation plan).

Lao Cai Provincial Department of Construction requests Yen Bai Provincial Department of Construction to soon give consensus on the above list of routes to implement the next steps.

The bus route proposed by the Department of Construction of Lao Cai province is to best serve the travel needs of the people on the Lao Cai - Yen Bai route and vice versa, especially to best meet the travel needs of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers after the merger of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces, contributing to creating favorable conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to work with peace of mind.

Currently, on the fixed inter-provincial passenger transport route Lao Cai - Yen Bai and vice versa, the Vietnam Road Administration has announced a list of 36 fixed inter-provincial passenger transport routes, connecting 15 bus stations at both ends of the route; the actual number of buses operating is an average of 11 trips/day. In addition, there are about 15 ÷ 20 contracted passenger buses operating on the route every day.
