On November 27, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, said that the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has submitted a document to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for consideration and inclusion of "Knowledge of exploiting and processing bird's nests in Khanh Hoa" in the list of national intangible cultural heritage.

Khanh Hoa is a land known as "Land of Agarwood - Sea of ​​Bird's Nest", the bird's nest industry in this locality has been recorded for nearly 700 years, containing unique historical and cultural values, which are very important to the people, as well as the local socio -economic development.

The knowledge of exploiting and processing bird's nests in the community is a precious treasure that has both cultural value and significance for economic and social development. Many customs and beliefs commemorating and showing gratitude to the ancestors of the profession and the predecessors who have worked hard to foster development are still preserved and practiced in today's life.
