Using the Ascend 910C chip helps DeepSeek significantly reduce costs compared to using only Nvidia chips, while reducing its dependence on American technology. Although the 910C is not powerful enough to train large-scale AI models, it fully meets the needs of inference, helping DeepSeek maintain high performance at a lower cost.
