At the meeting, the leaders of Silk Fashion World Company Limited proposed to adjust the time of the final round of the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 contest from August 1 to 12 to September 11 to 20; adjust the venue of the final night from Vinh Hy Bay (Vinh Hai Commune) to April 2 Square (Nha Trang Ward).
The Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 contest is in the stage where the Organizing Committee is receiving applications from contestants. The preliminary and semi-final rounds of the contest will take place from September 1 to 10 in Ho Chi Minh City; the final round will take place from September 11 to 20 in Khanh Hoa province. It is expected that the final round will have the participation of 30 to 40 contestants. During the final round, the contestants will participate in filming activities to promote the contest and the locality at locations such as Vinh Hy Bay, Hang Rai, Bau Truc pottery village, etc.; social charity activities, environmental protection. On the final night, the contestant crowned Miss Ocean will receive a prestigious crown, along with a prize of 200 million VND and in-kind prizes worth a total of 1.5 billion VND. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the titles of 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up, 4th Runner-up and other secondary awards.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien highly appreciated the determination of Silk Fashion World Company Limited in organizing the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 contest; agreed to adjust the time and venue for the final round and the final night of the contest according to the proposal from the organizing unit. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien requested that the organization of the contest must demonstrate the scale and magnitude of the event; the contest must be associated with images of nature and the ocean and meet the needs of people and tourists to participate and watch; along with the final night, it is necessary to organize additional art performances, cuisine, and introduce typical products of Khanh Hoa province in a large and unique way; urgently develop a general plan to organize the contest, as well as a detailed program of specific activities so that the provincial authorities can coordinate; Actively carry out communication and promotion work for the contest... He assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review the licensing procedures for the contest; closely follow and proactively work with Silk Fashion World Company Limited to guide and support the organizing unit to connect businesses to mobilize sponsorship for the contest and related activities; draft a contest organization plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and promulgation.
