David Greilsammer's Piano Recital

The concert promises to bring the audience a unique experience through classic musical works in the world's classical music treasure with emotional playing and masterful techniques. The solo program Traveling with Satie introduces many classical masterpieces, with the highlight being the works of one of the greatest French composers of all time - Erik Satie.

Pianist David Greilsammer

Pianist and conductor David Greilsammer (46 years old) coordinated with the French Institute in Vietnam to conduct a tour with many top concerts and lectures on music theory with the aim of contributing to making classical music more accessible to the general public.

David Greilsammer is recognized by the public and the media as one of the most talented French pianists of his generation. He is the music and artistic director of the Geneva Camerata Orchestra (Switzerland) and the principal conductor of the Medellín Symphony Orchestra (Colombia). He has collaborated and performed with a series of famous orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Radio France Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Verdi Orchestra of Milan... His latest album, released by the famous French record label Naïve, called Labyrinth, has received more than 20 international awards...

The music night Traveling with Satie will take place at 8pm on June 18 at IDECAF - 31 Thai Van Lung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. After the music night, David Greilsammer will continue with his activities: giving lectures and performing at the Hue Academy of Music (June 20); performing at the French International School - Lycée Français Alexandre Yersin ( Hanoi , June 22); and performing at the Hanoi Opera House with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra (June 29).
