The inspirational art program “Viet Nam Stronger” co-organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association, the first season with the theme “Phu Dong Dream”, will take place on October 13, at Hoa Binh Theater (Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).

“Phu Dong Dream” is a program with humanistic and meaningful art, inspiring the young generation for a strong Vietnam; Conveying the spirit of national pride, the will to overcome difficulties and rise up; The tradition of studiousness, sowing seeds and nurturing the young generation to have the best environment and conditions for physical and mental development (bringing more knowledge to children in remote areas and border areas); Spreading love, social responsibility, leaving no one behind (sharing and providing material support, improving the qualityof education for children).
The inspirational art program “Phu Dong Dream” will start at 7:00 p.m. on October 13, 2023, at Hoa Binh Theater. In particular, the reception area will feature a traditional band with traditional musical instruments made from bamboo: bamboo flute, T'rung... along with an exhibition area displaying images of meaningful charity projects that have been implemented.

The program is inspired by the image of bamboo shoots, or often called young bamboo shoots. Imbued with the idiom “old bamboo, new bamboo shoots grow”, future generations are like bamboo shoots that need to be nurtured from important premises such as: environment, health and especially education. Today’s “bamboo shoots” are the strong green bamboo fortress of tomorrow.
The art program consists of 3 acts: Bamboo growing out of the ground, Bamboo love and Bamboo leaning in the shade. In particular, the opening act “Phu Dong’s dream” borrows the legendary story of Phu Dong Thien Vuong to convey the message of protection, love, sharing; the spirit of being ready to sacrifice for the country; humility and also faith, the desire to rise up and overcome adversity.
The goal of the inspirational art program Viet Nam Stronger is to mobilize socialization and use resources to support the program Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and the YBA Project - House of knowledge (Container library) of the Golden Heart Fund (Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association).

Chapter 1: Bamboo grows out of the ground
It is the story of a strong and resilient Vietnam from the past of building and defending the country; firmly facing the events and natural disasters in peacetime. It is the solidarity, mutual support, and unanimity that has brought the Vietnamese people in general, and each individual and group of domestic enterprises and corporations in particular, forward together.
Like bamboo shoots rising from the ground to welcome the sun and wind of freedom and peace, Vietnam of yesterday, today and tomorrow will always be beautiful with scenic spots stretching across the S-shaped land, with love for people and love for the homeland.

Chapter 2: Bamboo Love
In times of hardship, hardship or misfortune, loss, there is always a belief in sharing and helping in the spirit of “the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves”, “the gourd, please love the squash/ Although different in species, they are on the same vine”. Many individuals and groups always live and think for the community, accept to commit, sacrifice their personal lives, forget themselves to contribute to the community without seeking anything for themselves. “A piece of food when hungry is worth a whole bag when full”, such mutual support not only helps each life to reduce some of the hardship.
More importantly, all of them also show the spirit of mutual love, adding strength and optimism to life so that no one feels left behind. And those positive and loving values have been, are and will continue to be continued every day.

Chapter 3: Bamboo Shade
Vietnam today is a self-reliant, brave, and strong nation. And, each individual is like a flower that is decorating the garden of life, of Vietnam by living, contributing positive things to the community, spreading the power of love.
Every day, more seeds of kindness are planted and believed to blossom and bear fruit, contributing to a better society. Let us all act together, like the bamboo that bends its shade, because a thousand good words are not equal to one practical action for the community.
