Dong Nai is considered a province that protects its natural forests quite well. This creates favorable conditions for the province to conserve and develop forest-based ecotourism . In today's 4.0 era, forest management, protection, and tourism potential promotion require significant changes. Many modern technologies have been and are being applied, contributing to improved management, tourism promotion, and services for visitors. This was observed at Bu Gia Map National Park.
Comprehensive, fast, and accurate control.
With over 25,000 hectares of forest, Bu Gia Map National Park boasts the largest and most diverse forest ecosystem in the South, serving as a repository and conservation area for many rare and valuable plant and animal species. More than ever, the management, protection, and development of forest resources are paramount. The application of information technology in this area at Bu Gia Map National Park has yielded significant results. Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) equipped with sensors and GPS systems allow for continuous data collection on the forest, enabling analysis and effective forest management decisions. In particular, through these drones, the Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board can collect data on altitude and forest diversity, travel to locations difficult for humans to access, thereby assessing forest conditions and detecting forest fires.

According to Vuong Duc Hoa, Director of Bu Gia Map National Park, thanks to the equipment and application of information technology in carrying out tasks, the management, promotion, and protection of forests in Bu Gia Map National Park are becoming increasingly effective. The forests are always green, and the forest vegetation is diverse. Not only does technology reduce pressure on forest rangers and contracted communities, but it also helps the Park Management Board effectively manage the entire forest area, especially border areas, patrol and control forest protection, and develop tourism potential.
Over 400 QR codes have been attached to forest trees.
As a pristine forest with diverse biodiversity, varied terrain, streams, waterfalls, and stunning natural scenery, Bu Gia Map National Park is always a must-visit for domestic and international tourists when coming to Dong Nai . According to the park's management board, technology has played a significant role in managing and developing tourism here. To date, more than 400 QR codes have been attached to ancient trees and forest trees in the park's administrative and service area. From here, visitors can freely explore and learn about the species and value of each forest tree without needing guides or interpreters.
Furthermore, with their high resolution, digital camera traps have been widely used by staff and employees of Bu Gia Map National Park in conservation research and tourism development. Digital camera traps capture sharp images of animal activity at night or of species sensitive to human presence. Thanks to digital camera traps, researchers have been able to record images of several endangered and rare animal species with high conservation value, serving scientific research, conservation efforts, and tourism.

Mr. Vuong Duc Hoa added that, with over 25,000 hectares of forest, the management and protection of forests in Bu Gia Map National Park have always been highly appreciated over the years. These pristine forests have become tourist destinations, places for experiences, and centers for scientific research serving the conservation and development of forest biodiversity.
