But Pu Luong is not only about rice fields, this land has just enough to satisfy both guests who want to lie down all day reading books by the pool, and those who love to explore in the middle of nature. Ban Don can be considered the capital of Pu Luong tourism . According to the Thai people, in the past, people built their houses scattered and far apart. Later, they gathered together to form villages, living near water sources, convenient for community activities. People took the word Don, which in Thai means gathering, to name the village.

Currently, Ban Don is planned to develop into a community tourism village. This place still retains the traditional culture of the Thai people, with traditional wooden stilt houses interspersed among the terraced fields that curve softly like green silk strips embracing the village. This is also home to many beautiful resorts and homestays.
