Nha Trang has long been one of the famous and favorite tourist destinations in Vietnam, especially in the summer. Because it owns beautiful beaches, clear blue water, fine white sand, many interesting entertainment services and fresh seafood. This summer, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa continues to be a destination chosen by many domestic and international tourists. According to a newly published report by the Mastercard Economics Institute (MEI), Nha Trang City ranked 11th in the list of the world's top 15 tourist destinations in the summer of 2025. Most recently, the online travel platform Booking.com published the report "Travel Trend Prediction 2025", Nha Trang ranked second (after Da Nang City) in the destinations chosen by Vietnamese tourists to travel this summer. Mr. Pham Ngoc Kinh - Deputy Director of Cam Ranh International Airport said: "In June 2025, Cam Ranh International Airport will receive 25 domestic flights/day, 32 international flights/day (only counting arrivals). In the coming time, airlines plan to increase domestic and international flights to bring passengers to Khanh Hoa".

Information from tourist destinations shows that although it is not yet the peak summer tourist season, the number of visitors has increased, especially VinWonders Nha Trang Tourist Area and sea and island tours. Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf Management Department (under Nha Trang Bay Management Board) said: During the summer, the number of visitors to sea and island tours has increased. Currently, the wharf welcomes more than 5,000 visitors per day, and more than 7,000 visitors on weekends. Tourist attractions such as Bai Tranh, Con Se Tre, Hon Tam, etc. are chosen by many visitors because of their beautiful scenery and many entertainment services. The number of visitors to Hoa Lan Island Tourist Area and Monkey Island Tourist Area of Long Phu Tourism Joint Stock Company has also increased significantly.
The focus of "Nha Trang say Hi"
With that position, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa has prepared very carefully for this year's summer tourist season. The Land of Agarwood will welcome visitors with the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival with the theme "Nha Trang say Hi". Tourist areas and spots in the area have implemented many attractive activities to serve visitors. Currently, hotels with beautiful locations in Nha Trang and resorts in Bai Dai area have been booked by tourists. A quick survey of hotels such as: Sheraton Nha Trang, Novotel Nha Trang, Empyrean Nha Trang, Best Western Premier Marvella Nha Trang, Adamas Boutique Nha Trang, Potique Nha Trang, ... the average room occupancy rate in the first week of June was up to more than 80%; on weekends, the room occupancy rate reached more than 95%. Some hotels had no more rooms on the opening night of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival . "Tourists want to come and see the artists perform "Nha Trang say Hi" with a high-altitude fireworks display on the opening night of the festival. We have opened the restaurant on the 40th floor so that guests can watch the fireworks from above," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Uyen Chi - General Manager of Empyrean Nha Trang Hotel.
With the number of visitors expected to increase, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently issued a dispatch requesting businesses to coordinate in organizing propaganda and strengthening measures to ensure service for tourists during the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival and the peak summer tourist season. Businesses proactively provide tourism, culinary and entertainment products for visitors to explore and experience. “In the first 5 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed more than 4.6 million visitors, an increase of 19.3% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 2.2 million, an increase of 10.8%; domestic visitors are estimated at nearly 2.4 million, an increase of 28.5%. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at nearly 23,652 billion VND, an increase of 18.2%. The tourism industry is expecting the boom of the summer tourist season to help Khanh Hoa tourism make a breakthrough to soon achieve the goal of welcoming 11.8 million visitors in 2025, including 5.2 million international visitors and 6.6 million domestic visitors; tourism revenue reaches 60,000 billion VND", Mr. Cung Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shared.
