In the top group of schools, Hanoi Law University is still a "hot spot" with the C00 combination reaching a standard score of 29.5 points (in 2022), decreasing to 27.36 points (in 2023) and then reaching 28.85 points (in 2024). With this standard score, candidates must achieve from 9.12-9.83 points/subject to pass.
Banking Academy also demonstrated its competitiveness when the admission score dropped from 28.05 points (in 2022) to 26.05 points (in 2023) but suddenly increased sharply to 28.13 points (in 2024), entering the highest group in the country.
Although the National Economics University fluctuated less, it still maintained a high level, from 27 points (in 2022) to 26.85 points (in 2023) and back to 27.05 points (in 2024), equivalent to an average requirement of about 9 points/subject.
Some schools have seen significant growth, such as Thang Long University, from 23.47 points (2023) to 25.8 points (2024), or Thuy Loi University, fluctuating around 26 points, increasing from 25.5 (2023) to 26.62 (2024).
In the southern region, the benchmark score for this major at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry fluctuated greatly, from 27 points (in 2022) to 23.75 (in 2023) and then jumped to 26 points (in 2024).
The University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics maintained stability around 26-26.7 points, also showing high competition.

In addition, some new units recruiting students for the economic law major also attracted attention. The University of Procuracy in 2024 announced a benchmark score of 26.86 points in the first round of recruitment.
Can Tho University also made its mark with 26.85 points, quite high compared to the regional average. In the group of schools with lower admission scores, the University of Commerce maintained around 25.8-25.9 points for three years, creating opportunities for candidates.
In general, the benchmark scores for economic law in the 2022–2024 period show clear differentiation. Some schools maintain a score above 28 points, reflecting fierce competition and strong attraction, many schools are stable at 25-26 points, and some schools have benchmark scores ranging from 15-24 points, helping to expand admission opportunities for candidates with good academic performance.
