On the morning of October 3, at Nam Ha Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Sen ward to organize the opening ceremony of the Lifelong Learning Week 2025. The ceremony was attended by representatives of provincial leaders, departments, branches, and a large number of officials, teachers and students in the area, aiming to arouse and spread the spirit of self-study and continuous learning in the digital age.
Held from October 1 to October 7, Lifelong Learning Week is not just a one-week activity, but more importantly, a reminder for every citizen to turn learning into a regular need, habit and responsibility.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Lifelong Learning Week 2025, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Nga - Vice Chairman of Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee (Ha Tinh) emphasized that the launching of the Lifelong Learning Week aims to raise awareness, enhance responsibility, interest and active participation of authorities at all levels, sectors, organizations, unions and social forces in the lifelong learning movement, especially self-study for self-development, mastering knowledge and technology.
In a world that is constantly changing, learning is the key to personal development. Today, as technology develops at breakneck speed – from artificial intelligence, big data to the Internet of Things – mastering knowledge and technology is no longer an option, but a necessity.
Uncle Ho once advised: “Learning is a lifelong process. No one can claim to know enough or everything.” That teaching is a guideline for the awareness that learning is not only to know but also to do, to live together, to assert oneself and to contribute to the Fatherland.

Responding to the launching ceremony, representative of Nam Ha Secondary School, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Anh - Principal, affirmed that lifelong learning is not only the task of students, but also the responsibility and mission of the teaching staff.
In addition, the school is committed to actively building a friendly, creative and humane learning environment; encouraging teachers to learn throughout their lives, constantly improve their expertise and increase the application of information technology, exploiting digital resources; closely coordinating with families - schools - society to spread the spirit of "learning anytime, learning anywhere, learning for life".
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Hai Duong , representing the student generation, expressed her honor and deep awareness that learning is the building block of knowledge, training skills and nurturing personality. She called on students: “Consider learning both a duty and a right to develop yourself. Learn not only from school, but also from family, teachers, friends, from life and your own experiences.”

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also donated books to Nam Ha Secondary School and presented gifts to students with difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies, in order to encourage the spirit of learning and create conditions for everyone to access knowledge.

Through this event, the Organizing Committee calls on each agency, unit, school, community and individual to continue promoting the spirit of self-study, associated with digital transformation; learning to accumulate knowledge, creating motivation for self-development, mastering technology to improve the quality of life and work.
