Last year, the school's benchmark score based on the high school graduation exam was from 22 to 29.3 points. The two majors of History Education and Literature Education had the highest scores.
In the non-pedagogical training group, Literature has the highest standard score with 28.31 points and Biology has the lowest with 22 points.
This year, Hanoi National University of Education plans to enroll 4,995 students in 50 majors and regular university training programs in 9 fields (an increase of 595 compared to last year). 5 new majors opened this year include: Biotechnology, Physics (semiconductor physics and engineering), History, Sociology, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Culture.
The school uses 3 methods: Admission based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores; direct admission, giving priority to candidates with outstanding abilities and achievements; admission based on the 2025 capacity assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University of Education. Compared to last year, the school has abandoned the admission method based on high school transcripts.
In addition, Hanoi National University of Education has just announced the conversion points between the combined scores of the capacity assessment test (SPT) organized by the school and the 2025 high school graduation exam scores.
According to data released by Hanoi National University of Education, the candidate scored 28.33 points in the SPT exam according to the A00 combination (Math, Physics, Chemistry), equivalent to 29.75 points in the high school graduation exam. With the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English), the candidate scored 25.12 points in the SPT exam, equivalent to 27.75 points in the graduation exam.
With the SPT competency assessment test score, the admission score is from 18 - 26.3/30. This is the total score of two subjects in the admission combination specified by the school, in which one subject is multiplied by a coefficient of 2, plus priority points.
