Top schools: benchmark scores drop very slightly

The reason is that these schools have prestige, have created a position, and attract many candidates to register for admission.

Among the top schools, the leading medical and pharmaceutical training schools in the country such as Hanoi Medical University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the standard scores will not cool down because these schools mainly recruit block B00.
"It is expected that this year's benchmark scores for these schools will be similar to last year's. The admission scores for Medicine and Dentistry will be 26.5 or higher, and candidates must achieve about 9 points in each subject to be admitted," said this expert.
Some other prestigious medical schools such as: Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Health Sciences (formerly Faculty of Medicine - Ho Chi Minh National University), Hanoi University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hanoi National University) will also have high admission scores. In particular, admission scores for majors such as Medicine and Dentistry will still be at the top.

What are the admission scores of top medical schools?
Hanoi Medical University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy always have the highest annual admission scores among medical and pharmaceutical training schools in the country.
In 2024, the benchmark score of Hanoi Medical University at the main campus (Hanoi) fluctuates from 21.75 to 28.83. However, the major with the highest benchmark score is Psychology, group C00 (first enrollment) with a benchmark score of 28.83, while Medicine and Dentistry still maintain their positions. Meanwhile, in group B00, Medicine has a benchmark score of 28.27; Dentistry has a benchmark score of 27.67.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the benchmark scores range from 20.1 to 27.8. The highest benchmark score for the Medicine major is 27.8, based on high school graduation exam scores. The benchmark score for the Medicine major is 26.95, based on high school graduation exam scores. The benchmark score for the Dentistry major is 27.35. The benchmark score for the Dentistry major is 26.5.
Hanoi Medical University (Hanoi National University) also has a relatively high admission score. The admission score for Medicine is 27.15; Dentistry is 27.
At Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the benchmark score for Medicine is 26.17. Meanwhile, at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, the benchmark scores for Medicine and Dentistry are still leading at 26.57 and 26.49, respectively.
The University of Health Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has a standard score of 26.4 for medicine and 26.33 for dentistry. Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy has a standard score from 19.2 to 25.7, of which the highest is medicine with 25.7 points, followed by dentistry with 25.65 points...
