A series of universities accept candidates who were "wrongly admitted"

(Dan Tri) - Up to now, 64 universities have agreed to accept candidates who did not meet the standard score but were on the list of candidates admitted to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

Regarding the technical error that caused candidates to “fail” and “pass” in this year’s admissions at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, the school informed that it is still coordinating with universities to resolve issues related to errors in the first round of admissions results, in order to ensure the legitimate rights of candidates.

Up to this point, 64 other universities have agreed to accept candidates who did not meet the standard score but were on the admission list to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

The school is also continuing to work with a number of other related universities to get support for the remaining candidates.

In cases where candidates are eligible to be admitted to the school but are not on the admission list, the school has contacted them to complete the admission procedures according to regulations.

Previously, after announcing the 2025 benchmark scores, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education reviewed the admission list and found that there were cases where candidates did not meet the benchmark scores but were on the admission list and vice versa.

Considering this was a technical error and to ensure maximum benefits for candidates, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education has sent a dispatch requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to create conditions for candidates to continue the admission process and requesting support from relevant universities.

Also related to the shortcomings in this year's enrollment, the International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has just announced the resolution of errors in the 2025 enrollment results.

According to the school, immediately after announcing the 2025 university entrance exam results, the school reviewed all admission results to detect and promptly handle technical errors that occurred during the admission process.

In addition, the school has coordinated with relevant units to review, update, contact and send admission notices to eligible candidates according to the school's admission principles.

To ensure fairness in the admission process, the rights and wishes of candidates, the school receives and resolves all questions from candidates about the admission results. The school also requests that candidates with questions send information to the school before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 for consideration and resolution, in order to ensure the enrollment time according to the regulations of the Ministry.
