Special film "Cartoons for Children" introduces the film "Mother's Letter"

The animated film "A Picture for Mom" is a paper-cut film genre, a simple and lovely story about family affection. The film tells the story: one day, a little girl was given a box of colored pencils by her mother. Excited with joy, the little girl planned to draw a beautiful picture for her mother. Immersed in the dream of drawing ideas, the little girl was taken by the phoenix to a magical land, where there are many beautiful scenes, where she met fairy tale characters, enjoyed delicious food, strange things... But all of that could not fill the little girl's heart with the longing for her beloved home, for her beloved mother filled with so much warmth and sweetness... It was this deep feeling that helped the little girl complete a beautiful and meaningful picture for her mother.

The program will introduce and screen the cartoon "A Picture for Mom" to children.

The program will open at 9:00 a.m. on October 19, 2024 at S.Hub Kids Space, Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library (69 Ly Tu Trong, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

After watching the film, children will interact and ask questions about the film "A Picture for Mom" with guest, Master Nguyen Thi Nhu Trang, and together share their feelings and perceive the message about family love from the film. In addition, children will also interact with the game "Make a family picture with paper" to receive attractive gifts from the Organizing Committee.

It is expected that in November 2024, the program will continue to introduce the Vietnamese animated film "The Teacher of All Time" at S.Hub Kids Space, Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library (69 Ly Tu Trong, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The film revolves around the historical and cultural figure Chu Van An, a Confucian scholar and teacher living in the Tran Dynasty, who was praised by the people as "Van the su bieu", meaning the Teacher of All Time of Vietnam.

The special film program "Cartoons for children" attracted the participation of many children.

According to the Organizing Committee, the thematic film program "Cartoons for Children" is a practical activity in response to the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024), while exploiting, disseminating and promoting the historical and cultural values of animated films archived at the Vietnam Film Institute. Through the content of the activity, it contributes to orientation and aesthetic education , while serving the needs of learning, entertainment and training skills in perceiving cinematic works for children.
